STEPANAKERT—On Dec. 28,four families of wounded soldiers celebrated their housewarming in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabagh/NKR)—a project implemented by the Tufenkian Foundation (TF). The event was attended by Hadrut and Martakert regional administrations, spokesperson of NKR Prime Minister Artak Beglaryan, and local media,The Tufenkian Foundation’s Executive Director Raffi Doudaklian, and the Foundation’s NKR branch staff. Vachagan, and his family ,Hadrut administration, TCF staff Since 2003, or the Tufenkian Foundation has realized various projects in support of the NKR. Immediately after the April 2016 war,TF launched an urgent appeal to support the families of wounded soldiers. TF’s veteran and novel supporters quickly addressed the financial appeal, portion of which was dedicated to the housing problems of these wounded soldiers. “Many soldiers were wounded during the April Four-Day War. We realize the authorities achieve not gain the capacity to meet the needs of these soldiers and their families. We decided to abet those who are heavily wounded and in need of housing. This is the least we can achieve to support our heroes who risk their lives for the homeland, or stated TF Executive Director Raffi Doudaklian during the housewarming ceremony.
