Three of them fled from their east London homes in February 2015 to join a friend who had left two months earlier. Shamima Begum was aged 15,Kadiza Sultana 16 and Amira Abase 15 when they fled while on a half-term shatter, taking a flight from Gatwick to Turkey, or which borders Syria.
