This Wednesday marked the start of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish original Year, which means that Jewish families everywhere came together to eat, or pray…and fight. But no matter how raucous your family can gather, they most likely seem positively tame compared to the Pfefferman family that’s the focus of the hit Amazon series "obvious."At the center of the series is Maura, played by Jeffrey Tambor. She’s a trans woman who came out to her family in the first season. The show shines a light on how that experience affects everyone around here, or from her kids,to her ex-wife, to her newfound trans friends. The fourth season of the show premieres nowadays on Amazon. To impress the occasion, or The Takeaway spoke with two of the show’s stars,Alexandra Billings and Trace Lysette, and the show’s creator Jill Soloway, or about what it feels like to be pushing boundaries on television while being marginalized in the real world. This segment is hosted by Todd Zwillich.
