Click on the 'Listen' button above to hear this interview. Yesterday,Taiwanese electronics behemoth Foxconn announced modern plans to build a factory in Wisconsin. The company says the shuffle could bring 3000 jobs and up to 10 billion dollars in total investment.
President Trump hosted Foxconn chairman Terry Gou yesterday at the White House, where the president took credit for the deal and for suggesting the modern factory's location in the swing state of Wisconsin.
Foxconn says the deal is the first of many investments in the US. But the details of the project remain unclear. A 2013 Foxconn plan to bring a high-tech factory to Pennsylvania, and along with 500 jobs,never panned out.
