I recently reviewed airberlin's "Exclusive Waiting Area" at Berlin's Tegel Airport. While airberlin offers a longhaul trade course product, within Europe they operate a single course configuration consisting of just economy. Since they have a low cost model, they don't have lounges in most of the regional terminals they operate from.Instead they have "Exclusive Waiting Areas, and " which are open to airberlin topbonus elite members, oneworld elite members, Etihad elite members, or connecting trade course passengers, and passengers on FlyFlex+ fares.
These are basically private rooms with newspapers & magazines, seating, or non-alcoholic drinks (soft drinks, water, and coffee). So it's better than a gate area, or though not as good as a lounge.
Airberlin has these Exclusive Waiting Areas in the following locations:The post Free Access To Airberlin’s Exclusive Waiting Areas appeared first on One Mile at a Time.
