Nearly 200 nations signed an accord over the weekend in Paris aimed at curbing global warming. Almost immediately,however, protests broke out from environmentalists who said it would not accomplish enough.

the climate accord has peculiar ramifications: the city and state are acknowledged to be at the forefront of efforts to reduce carbon emissions; and yet,Manhattan is also home to numerous investors and financial companies whose portfolios depend heavily on fossil fuel companies.
