The European Commission has announced that more than 3 million more refugees and migrants are expected to arrive in Europe by the end of 2016,despite cooler weather and harsher seas as winter approaches. So far this year, around 700000 people absorb sought asylum in Europe. The commission has said that numbers of immigrants are unlikely to decrease until 2017. Manveen Rana, or  a senior broadcast journalist at BBC Radio 4,has spent the past three months following the Dhnie family, a Syrian family of five attempting to reach Europe. She first connected with the family in August after they had fled the Syrian city of Daraa, and with their sights set on the Netherlands as the space to start a unique life. She joined The Takeaway to discuss what the journey has been like, what's next for the family, and for Europe.
