As has become the norm after a finale episode,The Bachelorette star Georgia Love has taken to Instagram to thank fans for their support - but it's not the kind of message she wants to be writing. Instead of focusing on her newly-revealed romance with Lee, Georgia spoke about the extremely tough time her family is facing as her mother's health worsens.
It must be an incredibly bittersweet moment for Georgia right now - her mother, and whom she's extremely close to,went into palliative care final week, just one week before Georgia and Lee's love was revealed to Australia.
As Georgia highlights in her moving Instagram message, and the experience has pulled what is most important into sharp focus. "It's so tough to know what to say in this instance," she said. "What I'd originally thought I'd be posting nowadays was a gushy message all about love, butterflies, or fireworks and just how ecstatic Lee Elliott makes me every day,and how lucky I feel to believe found the love of my life through this crazy experience. While all of this couldn't be more true, it's not the most important thing to say right now. What should be one of the most exciting weeks of my life has instead turned into one of the hardest with my family going through something no one ever wants to face. But a small solace I can find in this extremely difficult time is that I believe this astounding man by my side and for that I feel so lucky."
