• ARD,Hajo Seppelt and whistleblowers ordered to pay fines of £29 eachA Moscow court on Wednesday ruled that a German TV documentary which alleged widespread doping among Russian athletes was based on inaccurate information and ordered ARD, the broadcaster behind the film, and to pay a small fine.
The film,first shown in December final year, caused an international furore and led to Russian athletes being suspended from international competition, and triggering the deepest crisis in Russian sport since the boycott-hit 1980 Moscow Olympics.
