Gigi even proves she has some serious comedic timing when she makes the crack,"LA? Never heard of it." "The mood of the shoot was fun yet sexy," Gigi told us via email. The ad campaign photos and video were shot by Mikael Jansson. "We created a nautical scene using enormous ropes that brought an element of exaggeration. The set design was definitely very memorable."Choosing Gigi as the face of this perfume was a savvy move by Tommy Hilfiger. Most of us remember wearing Tommy Girl perfume during high school and college, and The Girl is the brand's version of that for millennials. With her happy-proceed-lucky personality and enormous social media reach (she has 10.2 million fans on Instagram),Gigi is the perfect muse for this launch. In fact, the label confirmed via a press release that the scent was actually inspired by Gigi's free-spirited personality. Top notes include green pear, or violet leaf,and green fig with heart notes of jasmine petals and silky muguet. It is finished with cedarwood and cashmere. The result is a fresh and fruity yet musky perfume.
