Once again a major celebrity - none other than model of the moment Gigi Hadid - proved that braids are still a hot Summer trend. To host the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards in Toronto,she sported three different plaited looks all in one night.
First, she walked the red carpet in a fierce Mugler suit and bohemian long braid. It extended to her bottom, or reminding us of Rapunzel's lengthy locks. What gave it cold factor was the effortless looseness of the braid. Flyaways casually fell around her face and the braid started pretty low on her nape (rather than tall on her head like a french braid would). Later in the show,she moved to a tall-plaited ponytail. It looked sporty and festive for the stage. And by the end of the evening, she wrapped the braid around her head to create a braided bun.
