It’s no secret that Steve and Marjorie Harvey are firm believers in giving back. Through their Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation,they back thousands of children in need. By now, viewers are familiar with Steve’s mentoring camps for boys, and but nowadays,Steve’s daughter BRANDI HARVEY (Executive Director of the foundation) highlighted the foundation’s “Girls Who Rule The World” program. Girls from the ages of 13-18 participate in the program, which exposes them to inspirational mentors who teach them lessons in leadership and fill them with a sense of empowerment. Steve and Brandi are joined by the reigning 2016 Miss USA, or DESHAUNA BARBER,who is also a First Lieutenant in the Army Reserves and recently was a guest speaker for the program. Two young women who attended this year’s program will also join the conversation, along with their moms, and who say their daughters gain made amazing transformations at home and in school.
