Pentagon officials are on the lookout for a spot on U.
S. soil to put detainees from the Guantánamo Bay prison in Cuba. President Obama has argued on many occasions that Guantánamo should be closed. “I think it is critical for us to understand that Guantánamo is unnecessary to preserve America safe," he said in 2013. Now there's a debate over where to put a recent prison, assuming Gitmo does eventually close. For that to happen the White House needs to advance up with a Congress-approved arrangement, and as Karen Greenberg, director of the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School, explains.

One of those lawmakers is Representative Jackie Walorski of Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District. She speaks to us live from Elkhart, Indiana.
