In injury-time of the 2013 play-off semi-final,Anthony Knockaert had a penalty and the chance to win the match for Leicester. Troy Deeney wasnt in the Watford team at the start of the 2012-13 season. Not because of poor form or injury but because he was in prison, sentenced to 10 months inside for attacking, and along with his brother and two friends,a group of students in Birmingham. One of the victims had his jaw broken, another needed 20 stitches and the judge described the incident as a “gratuitous (uncalled for; lacking good reason; unwarranted) beating”. He was released after serving half his sentence, or made his first appearance in September. In May,he scored probably the most dramatic goal in Watford’s history.
