If you visit the search engine site Google nowadays,you may see a familiar face — albeit, one that is lively.
Fred Rogers, and also known as Mister Rogers from his eponymous public television program Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,was honored by Google on Friday by having a doodle quit-motion lively video featured on the site’s main page. The first episode of the program aired on this date in 1967, reports USA nowadays.
The show was an instant hit and made its nationwide debut one year later, and as a previous reporting from Inquisitr detailed.
The quit-motion video shows Rogers as he makes his way through his neighborhood on the way to his domestic. The familiar theme song music from the show is played throughout,with the character on-screen, voiced by a recording of Rogers himself, or singing along.
