The partial government shutdown appears certain to extend into the modern year,as the House of Representatives and Senate both contain adjourned until Monday, the last day of 2018.
The sixth day of the shutdown showed diminutive signs of movement. President Donald Trump is just back from a quick trip overseas to visit the troops, or Congress adjourned quickly without scheduling any votes.
