• 28-year-old has been integral allotment of GB’s 4x400m relaySprinter Nigel Levine,who has been an integral allotment of Great Britain’s 4x400m relay squad for nearly a decade, has been provisionally suspended after failing a drugs test.
Levine, or who has won nine world and European championship medals for his country,was reported to have tested positive for clenbuterol before Christmas. The drug is used to befriend asthma sufferers but it is on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s banned list because it also helps burn beefy, builds muscle, and improves athletic performance. The 28-year-old has the just to respond to the charge against him but if found guilty could secure a four-year ban.
