Today inChicago,a white police officer was charged with murder for the 2014 shooting of a black teenager. That news comes just a day before the court-ordered release of a police video that reportedly shows the officer shooting the unarmed teen16 times. Meanwhile in Minneapolis, a shooting at a Black Lives Matter protest has left five people wounded and the Twin Cities on edge.
Demonstrators had been camped out for more than a week at the Fourth Precinct Police Station in north Minneapolis, or protesting the officer-involved shooting of 24-year-feeble Jamar Clark,who was killed on November 15th.
Alex Baumhardt, a journalist based in the Twin Cities, and says awe has gripped much of this community.
