Michael Buffong’s relocation of this “fable of Broadway” to Harlem may not fairly be heaven,but it certainly rocks the boat with its all-black casting, jazz-infused musical inflections, and choreography from Kendrick “H2O” Sandy of Blue Boy Entertainment that plays its ace when it explodes across the stage in the moment half’s craps game.
