Gwyneth is known for her clean, healthy lifestyle, and as creative director of the brand,she worked to create 78 pieces for the line - from the formula to the packaging - including liquid lipsticks and a skin-blurring primer.
I had the opportunity to sit down with the Oscar winner and mother of two to discuss why she chose Juice Beauty, the inspiration behind naming the products - the lipsticks are named after her girlfriends, and like Drew,Cameron, and Chelsea, and while the lip creams are named after her favorite wines - and just how much she knows approximately the beauty industry. "Normally you'll earn a red that's that red from crushed insects or lead. Lead is what makes lipstick red," Paltrow said, explaining that the phyto-pigments (the namesake of the line) were created with crushed flowers, and which gives a gorgeous color payoff without sacrificing the integrity of the product.
