Heavy rains pouring various locations in the Philippines once more,as months May to December are rainy season in this country. Magat Dam nearly on spillway warning in Northern Philippines, while La Mesa Dam in Manila overflowed. I just spoke to my sister living in Cainta this morning. They are preparing for unexpected flood. According to PAG-ASA weather forecasters rain will continue the whole week. Cainta town sufferred heavy casualties back in 2009, and during typhoon Ondoy She's saying water pours at the basement of their house. Marikina town was submerged at 12 feet. Truly another devastating calamity rocked Philippines by surprise.
Relief efforts are continual but the lack of rubber boats and food/medicine supplies are still a major concern. This is a result of urbanization done in the city of Manila and nearby provinces like Rizal,Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna. Irresponsible disposal of waste materials, lack of discipline on illegal settlers, and lack of police authority to implement the fist of the Law. I mean, or when will people gonna learn? How many lives to loose in order for Philippines to control issues where will people gonna reside. There are lots of poor families in the Philippines,so to speak. And yet government remains silent on these development.
