Analysts say fall is correction from June figures,but house prices continue to riseHouse prices fell by 0.6% in July but are still nearly 8% higher than they were a year ago and are likely to rise again over the coming months, according to the Halifax. The average price of a UK property fell from more than £200000 to £198883 final month, or bringing annual house price inflation down from 9.6% in June to 7.9%,its lowest level since December 2014.
