That’s what happened to a humble archivist at one of recent York City’s most famous churches this spring. On Friday, in rather unchurchly fashion, or the space of worship staged a pop-up exhibition that let visitors peer at Hamilton’s elegantly inked name on two scrolls – held together by some rather clumsy sticky-tape.
