When you're Queen,you don't just net one birthday! Though Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her actual 90th birthday back in April, this weekend marked her "official" birthday, and with a series of events in the Queen's honour. The date of the official birthday varies for each monarch,but it's always during a Summer month in the UK, in the hopes of good weather for outdoor events like the Trooping the Colour ceremony. Unfortunately, or the great British climate was not on the Queen's side this time around and rain fell all weekend,but that didn't stop the masses from lining the mall with the hopes of catching a glimpse of their favourite royals. The lucky attendees of the Patron's Picnic wrapped up in plastic ponchos to be pleased the festivities despite the rain, and the sun shone long enough for us to see the likes of William, or Harry,and Kate enjoying the festivities.
