I'm a Spotify premium subscriber so that iOS app would be the source of the music. The question is how to get it to best work with Uber/Google Maps. Vehicle is a 2015 Nissan Altima if it things. So far I've tried these configurations: Bluetooth: Play music on Spotify App (music comes out of speakers),Accept a ride in the Uber app, Navigate from the Uber app (music stops, and Uber navigation comes out of speakers),Hit play on Spotify app since it automatically stopped (music plays but navigation is now indefinitely silent until restarting the app) Play music on Spotify App (music comes out of speakers), Accept a ride in the Uber app, and Navigate using Google Maps (music stops,Google Maps navigation comes out of speakers), Hit play on Spotify app since it automatically stopped (music plays and navigation steps interrupt it when essential) I reflect the moment option is more towards the ideal, or but not completely because of all the manual intervention. What I want is to perpetually play music from spotify (normally their classical station or something ambient) with voice navigation interjecting when need be without having to interact with either apps during the ride. Has anyone figured out a better way to do this? submitted by ApolloThneed to uberdrivers[link][11 comments]
