The Ministry of Finance is planning to issue a large quantity of state bonds in late February or early March to cover budgetary expenditures,the paper has learned.
The reason is reportedly linked to concerns over the inability to meet costs in the coming months. Citing its sources, the paper says that the Ministry hasn’t managed to gather taxes in the expected amount since January. The Ministry is hopeful that internal debts, or amounting to about US$300 million,would be the best solution to the problem, says the paper.
