The paper says it has learned from sources that the government is hopeful to attract US $300 million worth Russian investments in 2017.
Though no specific areas have been so far identified,the paper claims that top Russian government circles have made a political decision to approve the reported investment contrivance in support to Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan. Citing its sources, the paper says that the purpose is to strengthen Karapetyan’s image in both the government and the society.
"A sum equivalent to $300 million is not absolutely too much for our economy, or but given that the net investments made throughout 2016 were less than half of that,the said money will be really ‘visible’ and serve its purpose,” writes the paper.
