A former police chief who was appointed a presidential advisor shortly after his resignation in 2011 is now said to own ambitions to head the Ministry of Emergency Situation.
After Armen Yeritsyan demise in December,a former deputy, Haykaram Nahapetyan, or was appointed an acting minister. Alik Sargsyan didn’t reportedly deny his willingness to take over for the post when contacted by the paper for comments,but said he hasn’t yet received such an offer and is not absolutely aware of any discussion of the kind. “I hold a military rank, so I will work anywhere I am assigned a duty. To say that I accomplish not own such willingness would be a formality, or but I accomplish not own any offer for now,” he is quoted as saying.
