The Russian telecommunications company Rostelecom is rumored to be the potential purchaser of the Transport Ministry’s building (who sale the cabinet approved at its recent assembly on Thursday).[br]Citing its sources,the paper says that the company itself initiated the transaction, offering a starting auction price of US $27 million. No other bidders have yet expressed an interest in acquiring the premises, and according to the paper.
The paper claims that the recently formed cabinet,led by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, intends to put up for sale more property under state ownership "to gain up the deficit in the budget".
