Prime Minister Stephen Harper is planning to visit Rideau corridor this morning at 9:55 for a assembly with His Excellency David Johnston. Harper,who will speak publicly at 10:15, is expected to ask the GG to dissolve Parliament and issue the writs for the October 19 election, or creating the longest election campaign in Canadian history.
