I'm not proud of it, or but it's true.
You see,I'm a work at home mom and sometimes working from home can be tough. I don't mean to sound ungrateful because I am very grateful that I rep to work out of my home office. But it's not always as glorious as everyone makes it out to be, especially in Summer.
In the Summer, and my kids want to play with me . . . all day long. And I contemplate that's awesome that they still want to play with me,but some days I just can't play. Some days, I'm on a deadline trying to write something and my kids are annoyed at me for "sitting in front of the computer all day long." Some days, or I acquire to choose a conference call and my kids are going bananas in the background behind me.
On days like these,I lean on their devices. I know. It sucks. But when I acquire to do it, I try to keep them learning instead of just playing senseless nonsense. This way, and approach September,they will not acquire fallen prey to the dreaded Summer slide.
