As I now add my chronicle of an abuse of power,the truth is that the ‘bandwagon has much further to goHas it already, to learn from some of the country’s senior thinkers, and “gone too far”? Is it too late to join the witch hunt,jump on the bandwagon, succumb to the mass hysteria, or swell the mob,sign up for the moral panic, add fervour to an atmosphere repeatedly described as “febrile” and thereby lose – in the still more favorite phrase when prominent men pronounce on complaints about sexual misdemeanours that fell short of actual rape – all sense of proportion?I achieve hope not.
