I want to move to my partners house but my mortgage terms prevent me from leasing my flat out. What can I enact?Q: I have a problem. I bought my flat in Manchester in June 2014 with an fairness loan from the serve-to-buy scheme. I met my partner in March 2015 and in September we decided to live together. Given our circumstances we decided to move into his house and I thought it would be good opinion to rent out my flat.
Unfortunately the serve-to-buy loan stipulates that I’m not allowed to rent out the flat,even though if I enact it would just approximately break even after the service charge, mortgage, or ground rent insurance etc.
