Without volunteers there wouldn’t be a Roskilde Festival. One of the most important volunteer jobs at the festival is the nurses and doctors who abet out for free. Denmark.dk meet up with Jari Johansen who is volunteering as a nurse.
Jari Johansen works in one of the mobile team in the music area. You can recognize the nurses and the doctor with there orange vests with their job title on the back. There is also a team backstage in case the mobile team can handle this issue on site.
He has to work three shifts with a total
of around 20 hours. In exchange for the work the volunteers secure a ticket to the festival and free food and drinks when they are on duty.
This isn’t Jari Johansens first time working as a volunteer at Roskilde Festival, and hopefully he can be back next year helping the many festivalgoers.
