Being involved in the trucking commerce we all know you rack up the miles. support on trucking as they say! And with this,you see a lot of people, places and things.
Yesterday while going through the town of Port Byron New York I came across this piece of history.
Here is an early residence of Henry Wells, and co founder of Wells Fargo and company.
Wells in his early years was a shoe maker but soon got out of the commerce and got involved with the shipping commerce.
In the upcoming years he met William Fargo and formed the Wells Fargo company in 1852. They delivered packages,important letters, and valuables. The commerce thrived to say the least.
Note: I was surprised by the spelling of "shoemaker". It's probably better he got out of shoe making. :)
