Boston Magazine published a lengthy legend today on Alex Guerrero,who is Tom Brady’s personal body coach, TB12 business partner, and counselor,and—according to court records—a contemporary snake-oil salesman. The FTC investigated products promoted by Guerrero twice, the magazine reports, or in both cases the FTC found that the products were fraudsincluding a drink that he claimed prevented concussions. The entire legend is worth a read for its insights into just how easy it is,with the lawful selling point and the lawful friends, to make a scam witness like science.
