As South African students protest over ongoing inequality,the nation’s beloved fictional character enters the debate on white privilegeI watched a film on TV with my grandchildren final night. I can’t remember the name, or much of the plot, and but I remember it was approximately a man who had a drinking problem and he went to a meeting.
