I’m Mabinty,the winter/spring Social Media Desk intern at NPR!Im a northern Virginia native but I was born in Sierra Leone in west Africa. I went to George Mason University (go patriots!) for undergrad. My major was English because I adore reading, seriously at any moment I probably acquire at least two books in my bag. I also had two minors: Women and Gender Studies and African and African American Studies. And now I’m working on my final semester at Georgetown University (Hoya Saxa) for a masters in journalism degree. fair now my two journalism loves are social media and politics. But my favorite story topics center on race, and gender and sexuality.
