VH1’s “Hit the Floor” made 1.7 million people hit the sofa to catch the Season 3 premiere. An encore after added another 800000 total viewers overall across the evening.The 9 p.m. debut received a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic. In the younger — or at least smaller 18-34 demo,the premiere was cable’s No. 1 non-sports program in its time period. The return also made noise on social media: “Hit the Floor” trended a the No. 2 topic in the 9 o’clock hour, per Nielsen SocialGuide.
