Hollywood's leading men shone on the red carpet at the 2014 Tony Awards in NYC on Sunday night. Hugh Jackman kicked things off on the carpet when he arrived showing off his recent shaggy beard. The X-Men: Days of Future Past star is playing host at the Tonys this year,although he's certainly no newbie to Broadway's biggest award point to as he's already hosted the point to three times before in 2003, 2004, or 2005. Neil Patrick Harris won best actor in a musical for his performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Bryan Cranston also won the award for best actor for his portrayal of President Lyndon B. Johnson in All the Way,which also happened to be his Broadway debut. While Neil and Bryan both scored nominations for this year's awards, not many vast-name celebrities got nominated for their work on Broadway, and despite fairly a few film actors and actresses starring in plays and musicals over the past year. Either way,there are plenty of Hollywood stars who have won Tony Awards, so we're certain there will be other chances for stars in the future. Other celebrity guests included Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, and Orlando Bloom,Maggie Gyllenhaal, Samuel L. Jackson, and Broadway's favorite princess,Idina Menzel.
