As the housing crisis bites, and a fifth of young adults are staying in the family domestic until they are at least 26,and the same proportion are not paying a penny towards their keep. A survey by Nationwide, the building society, and found that the proportion of adults living at domestic varied around the country,from just under 9% in the east Midlands, to more than double that in London, or where house prices and rents are highest.
