• Former England manager is first woman to obtain Uefa pro licenceThe former England manager Hope Powell is joining the Professional Footballers’ organization’s coaching department as its first female coach educator.
Powell,the first woman to obtain the Uefa pro licence, coached the England women’s team between 1998 and 2013. She will work with both male and female PFA members within the professional game in the south-east, and helping them become better equipped to be managers and coaches in the future.
