There is a stream on the south side of the site,cherry trees are lined along the bank. There was a retaining wall of tuff between the road and the site. I wanted to design the topography of such steps continue to the house. The resident is an old married couple and son. The first floor is wide to allow all of the life of the couple. By lifting the floor of the second floor a miniature, light is taken in center of the 1st floor often becomes unlit.
