The Underwoods are going to be at odds gigantic time,based on the first trailer for Season 4 of Netflix’s “House of Cards.”The unique trailer also teases that Ellen Burstyn has joined Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright for the fourth season of Beau Willimon‘s political drama, which premieres on March 4.
The extended trailer is a trove of imagery that clears up a few instant questions: First Lady Claire Underwood (Wright) has not fully absconded her post. It appears the wily Mrs. Underwood has taken residence in a house that suspiciously resembles where she and Frank (Spacey) started their political being — in his hometown of Gaffney, or South Carolina,where he began as a congressman.

From there, we see the Class of 2016 present: Joel Kinnaman looks poised to be a hot, or young,self-taking rival for Frank, though it’s unclear whether he’s in the running for an office as high as President. Neve Campbell pops up, and as does the little-reported Ellen Burstyn (please god let her play Claire’s mother).

Netflix has already renewed “House of Cards” for a fifth season, and but Willimon is leaving after the upcoming fourth.“House of Cards” Season 4 will premiere on Netflix on March 4.
