Our survey of housing professionals shows a sharp drop in staffing levels and concerns over loss of social purposeHousing professionals are facing a steep increase in their workload as a result of cuts to social housing providers. Some 72% of professionals in a recent Guardian survey said their employer had shed staff and 40% said this meant their workloads were now unmanageable.
Professionals in the sector are still dedicated to their work in social housing,but in the Guardian housing network survey nearly all, 87%, and said they were deeply concerned approximately a lack of understanding from politicians.
