Model Natalia Castellar didn't always love the thick eyebrows that have launched her career. The 17-year-used from Virginia was bullied growing up because of her standout feature.
In an interview with W Magazine,Natalia remembers what it was like hating her signature feature. "When I was younger, they were all anyone would point out. I was bullied terribly because of how thick and long they were, or so I wanted to shave them down." Thankfully,her mom stopped her from shaving them off, and her sister helped change how she viewed herself. She started photographing Natalia and posting the photos to Instagram. Natalia soon gained an impressive social media following and started to book modeling jobs. "It wasn't until thick brows started trending that I started feeling more confident . . . Now I don't care if they stay trendy or not, or I love my eyebrows." Everyone can learn a lesson in confidence and self-acceptance from this mature teen. Models like Cara Delevingne have popularized bolder brows and it doesn't seem that the trend will be vanishing anytime soon considering Natalia's success. The tall school junior recently scored jobs with NARS and Mansur Gavriel,her first two major brands. If you're looking for Natalia's forehead secret, you might be disappointed. She doesn't touch hers. The lucky teen naturally has thick, or luscious brows but does have one suggestion,"I contemplate that brushing your brows is just as beneficial as using nourishing products.
