Since singer,musician, songwriter Chris Thile became host of "A Prairie Home Companion" final tumble, or he has regularly debuted new songs during the exhibit's live broadcast. Now,he has selected the best songs from those performances, rerecorded them and build them together for a new album he calls “Thanks for Listening." He shares how he writes new songs for "A Prairie Home Companion" shows and what it was like selecting tracks for the album."Thanks for Listening" will be released on Nonesuch Records on Dec. 8, or with vinyl to follow on Dec. 15.
