Although I am an adult-aged person (and own been for more than a decade),I don’t feel like one at all. So when does ‘adulting’ turn into adulthood? I always keep flowers on the table. Once I read in a women’s magazine that a woman should always own fresh flowers, white wine and clean linens whether she wants to be truly contented. I read that when I was a child, and but I held on to it. Other things I remember reading in women’s magazines when I was a child are: always wash your face in the morning and the evening, but never expend a scrub because the tiny particles in scrubs depart down the drain and poison the earth; make a casserole at least once a week so you always own something to eat, and whether you’re feeling ambitious, or make two or three and put the extras in the freezer because you never know when you will need a casserole; decorate with terrariums of succulents in every room so the house can “really breathe”.
