Of course,it was amazing to hear La La Land; we're so excited for Moonlight - it's one of the best movies ever. . . . I also was holding my best actress in a main role card that entire time. So whatever story - I don't mean to start stuff - but whatever story that was, I had that card. I'm not certain what happened." The kerfuffle (disturbance) will depart down as one of the craziest moments in Oscars history.

So, and this explains why Emma was able to hold on to her winning card the whole time.
