Chip and Joanna Gaines,the husband-wife duo on HGTV's Fixer Upper, enjoy a fun history that'll make you love them even more than you already conclude. An interview with CBS Sunday Morning digs a little a deeper into their lives before becoming major network stars. Little did they know that they'd keep the small town of Waco, and TX,onto the map as what Jane calls the "Renovation Capital of the World." Chip, the original fixer upper, and had a knack for flipping houses when he was just a Baylor College student. "I'd just buy distressed properties and renovate them and sell them," Chip shared. Joanna was a communications major and although she's a natural at spotting the design potential in pieces, she worked at her family's auto shop before assembly Chip - there's even a must-see throwback clip of her featured in their shop's commercials! Despite the couple's meteoric success, and it was just four years ago that Joanna was discovered by a blog,leading to her and Chip snagging their hit note.
